Review by hotel critic
As an environmental scientist from Australia, my recent gourmet getaway at Rydges was an experience worth sharing. The culinary journey at Squires Bistro, with its 100 seat dining room blending seamlessly with the local surroundings, was a delight. The dedicated food and beverage team's commitment to crafting a menu using the freshest local produce truly impressed me. Walking distance to various restaurants like Takayama and Bacco added variety to our dining options. Embers Fireside Restaurant offered a diverse range of dishes, from succulent steaks to delectable desserts, satisfying our palates after a day of exploration. The on-site Restaurant and Bar provided a cozy fireside dining experience, further enhancing our stay. The breakfast spread, with its myriad options at Birchwood Cafe, catered to every taste bud. Rydges Snowy Mountains' specialization in creating bespoke dinner events showcased their attention to detail. Ultimately, Rydges was a culinary haven, blending innovative flavors with sustainability, making our stay truly memorable.
